About
My name is Nancy Bertolotti and I am a graduate of the Masters in Library and Information Science Program at the University of Western Ontario. This blog was started in August, 2009 with the intention of using it as a repository for all library matters of importance to me including annotations of books I’m reading for children, young adults, and adults, book lists created by others, as well as links to articles of interest concerning user experience, social software technologies, outreach, and so on. I have retained an earlier blog I began which pertains to Young Adult Librarianship only (Youth Advocate) but am currently posting to this blog only. I have also posted links to other web-based materials I have created or been involved in the creation of (Other Sites). Chronological blog entries can be found by clicking on the word “Blog“. The organization of this blog, not to mention the content, is constantly evolving (yes, I’ll use the jargon – it is in “beta-mode”) so you may find it looking quite different from time to time depending on how my needs change as a librarian.
If you have any suggestions and/or comments about what I have posted I would be happy to receive them. If you have a blog you think I should link to, please let me know that also. If you use anything from this or any of my sites I ask that you please cite it as your source.
Please note that all opinions expressed here are my own. I am not acting as a representative of my employer in this blog.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you will find this blog useful.
